5th Grade Bible

5th grade Bible is about to wrap up!  Students will finish their Worldview Religions Research Project next week and present them to the class.   They should have plenty of time to complte it in class with their group. They learn a great deal about the similarities and differences between an assigned religion and Christianity and then they share what they have learned with the rest of the class.  It is a great way for students to build their faith and be able to rationally and boldly share and defend their faith.  Carm.org is the website they are primarily using for their research if you want to check it out. There will be no more memory verse quizzes this year, but please check RenWeb to see if your child has any missing assignments.  Let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to a wonderful year of studying God's Word together and growing in our faith in 6th grade!

6th Grade Bible

6th grade Bible is about to wrap up!  The Romans 12 Challenge is Complete!  All students said it successfully and should be extremely proud of themselves, I know I am!  Romans 12 is our response to what Jesus has done for us and will hopefully stay with them for life!  On Friday, students took the Spiritual Gifts test to see where their spiritual strengths are.  Please ask them to show you their results and have a discussion with them about those areas of gifting.  Students will complete their Spiritual Discipline Project  next week and they will have planty of time in class to finish before presenting to the class.  Let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to hearing about all the ways God is going to use them in the upcoming years!
