5th Grade Bible

5th grade Bible will build upon the skills students learned in 4th grade. We will use the DeepRoots curriculum, which you also have access to online (see link above). We will focus on the Old Testament accounts and learn what it means to inductively study the Bible using Observation, Interpretation, and Application. Students will learn to defend their faith throughout the year and I encourage you to ask them questions about what they are learning and ways they can be bold in sharing their faith. We will continue next week in Unit 5 with the story of Samson and will finish when we return from Outdoor Ed. There will be weekly memory verse quizzes and students have those in their Bible folders and have multiple ways to study them. Please study them with your child each week. Verses can also be found on the DeepRoots link above and on the quiz page on iNews. 6th Grade Bible

We continue next week in Unit 5 with the Parable of the Sower and will finish it when we return from Outdoor Ed.
